Does anybody have any how-to's about fixing rust from under a vinyl top? I have a 1970 GTO and the material is in great shape but there's a few bubbles between the rear window and truck lid,as well as where the top ends at the quarters.
Anything will help.

You can take help of rust converter tube. It converts iron oxide back into a quasi metal. And weld a new patch back into.

The GM A body is know for this and if you look inside the truck you will see where water is coming in at that seam. it is caused from body flex. You will need to remove the rear glass and you will find the rust is much worse than you think. I have done several of these and if not done right then you are only 1/2 a**ing the job
