Hello I'm new to this forum but an old subscriber to the Auto Restorer Magazine. I have a transmission out of, I've read a 1937 Chevrolet car, it's a three speed floor shift model The numbers cast into the the side of the case are 590 695 below these numbers are cast GM-10. This transmission was used in the production of Gibson Garden Tractors. I recently got one of these little tractors (1948 model A) that had sat out side for who knows how many years. Over the years enough water had leaked into the transmission to freeze and crack the case and also rusted shafts bearings and gears to the point they will no longer turn. What I'm seeking is any help in freeing up shafts and bearing so they will rotate. I've had it soaking with a mix of ATF and acetone for a couple of weeks but to no avail. also I would like to know if anyone knows where to get a diagram or service manual of this transmission so as I am attempting to take it apart I hopefully will not break anything. I'd sure be thankful for any help I could get in my endeavor. Jerry
